Book a free one-to-one session to get advice about your Family History research. (Walk-up spaces may be available on the day).

The London Archives and the Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives (AGRA) are delighted to be able to offer in-person “Ask the Experts” sessions at The London Archives on Saturday 14 February. You can get advice about your research questions on the following topics: General family history; brick wall busting; local and social history; house history; military; tracing living relatives; research into businesses; DNA; or other.

AGRA was founded in 1968 to maintain and promote high professional standards in the field of genealogy and historical research, and remains the professional body that can be relied on for excellence. AGRA experts cover a wide range of topics.

  • Each session lasts 20 minutes
  • Time slots have been set-up between 10.30am and 3.30pm on Saturday 13 June - if there are cancellations, slots will become available to book.
  • When you book, please complete the additional questions to indicate the broad area of your research interest from the list of categories, and to provide details of your enquiry.
  • Walk up sessions may also be available on the day.

Please note: These sessions are delivered by AGRA professionals. If you book a session, your name, category of interest and the description of your query will be shared with AGRA in advance so they can prepare for your session.
