Walking Tour: In Search of the River Fleet

Explore forgotten River Fleet tributaries in Clerkenwell and Islington with writer John Rogers, author of Confessions of London River Hunter

This special event combines a document display and a walking tour. You'll start indoors at The London Archives taking a look at a specially curated selection of original documents, before heading outside for a guided walk to find hidden traces of the River Fleet.

About the Speaker:

John Rogers is a writer and filmmaker based in East London. He is the author of This Other London: Adventures in the Overlooked City, Welcome to New London: Journeys and Encounters in the Post-Olympic City, and The Black Path. His latest book Confessions of a London River Hunter will be published in November 2026.
